Day at the Beaches

Santa Barbara isn’t the only place where you can enjoy the Beach! Today we headed to the beach, or rather drove, with baby in tow to Santa Claus Lane. I didn’t know he had his own Beach. Accessed by crossing over the railroad tracks, through a few big rocks…and what a view. The castle Home is amazing. I’d like to get more information about it!

Pre-Parade Solstice Photos

Well Solstice is tomorrow, and I headed on over to Alameda Park to check out the Friday festivities. Here’s a look at what you can expect to find tomorrow after the Parade – that’s if you can manage your way through the crowds! Now you can be prepared by knowing what kind of food, clothing and water (the sign Says”Support Solstice Buy REAL WATER” – Just what other kind of Water is there I have to wonder!) .

Santa Ynez offers more than a taste of Napa – MarketWatch

Nice little video about Santa Ynezs’ Wine Valley as it ties into the Movie ‘Sideways’ Five years later.

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — Where do you go on vacation when you already live in a destination spot? For residents of Los Angeles, a day trip to Disneyland or Universal Studios may not scratch the itch. In the United States, this cut was typically used for ground beef or sliced into steaks until the late 1950s, when it became a local specialty in Santa Maria, California, rubbed [...]
