2009 Fiesta Posters at Online Store, No Contest?

So I’ve been wanting to know when the Fiesta Poster Competition was going to be held. About a month ago I called the Fiesta Offices and was told that it was up to the Fiesta President to decide whether or not there would actually be a contest, I and a few other artists were interested in entering a piece for consideration.

A Little Old Spanish Days Fiesta Information

We really love our Fiestas! In fact we love them so
much that every year we have a Traditional celebration lasting 4 or 5
Days enjoying out cultural past involving Spanish Influences.

Starting on August 1st through the 5th of 2009 we will be celebrating our next Big City-wide Block Party!

Old Spanish Days is August 5-9, 2009

It’s Only 4 months away when it’s that time of year to join in the celebration of old Spanish Days, Fiesta! – Here’s a little historical information about it; First celebrated in 1924, it all began when some local families got together to preform unique presentations of 19th century Spanish California. Local businesses also wanted to get in on the act to attract Tourists just like new Orleans and other cities such as the Rose Parade in Pasadena.
