This is the website of Santa Barbara Local, established in 1997 as a Photographic Display of the local area. When I originally started this website the intention was to create a community based information website. I had hoped to include Business listings, Coupons, Deals for Locals and Tourists alike . . . but my employment with the largest media company in town prevented me from creating such a website.

Your Author: Jued Martinez is a local resident of Santa Barbara since 1978. Originally raised and partially schooled in Carpinteria. Having worked over 20 years in the local Commercial and Web Printing industries – in 1997 I began my current journey into developing websites. I am fluent in Photoshop, WordPress, and semi-fluent in HTML, PHP, CSS, Flash, Website Building & e-Commerce Development. I am currently available for Freelance work.
